Holocaust Educational Trust – Lessons from Auschwitz Project

Around 200 students from schools and colleges across the Thames Valley and Chilterns have visited the Nazi concentration and death camp Auschwitz-Birkenau in Poland as part of the Holocaust Educational Trust's 'Lessons from Auschwitz Project'. Centenary Commemoration of the Battle of Fromelles 2016

[jwplayer mediaid="13806"] A party of dignitaries from Buckinghamshire including the High Sheriff and Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire visited France to commemorate the Bucks Battalion action at the Battle of Pozieres and Fromelles in July 1916. Visiting a number of war graves in the area and the official Australian commemoration at Fromelles.

Torch Relay Through Buckinghamshire
