Long Jump Gold Medallist Greg Rutherford had his achievement in the Olympics celebrated in his home town on Friday… A bus parade through the town and the unveiling of a special 8.31 metre gold strip in the ground.

Bucks TV had camera in Stoke Mandeville Stadium, Aylesbury Market Square, were on the Torch Relay Media Truck, and visited Weston Turville and Aston Clinton as the Paralympic Flame started it's journey to the Olympic Park on Tuesday 28th August 2012.

Day 67 – Torch Relay in Denham
The third day the Olympic Flame returns to Buckinghamshire during the Torch Relay. Mimi Harker joins the crowds in South Bucks.
Olympic Torch Relay – Day 53
Day two as the the Olympic Flame enters Bucks. We visit Bisham Abbey, Dorney Lake and are on the streets of Burnham.
Torch Relay Through Buckinghamshire
Day 52 and the Olympic Flame Torch Relay visited Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Buckingham, Winslow, Whitchurch, Aylesbury, Stoke Mandeville and Waddesdon. Bucks TV had a camera crew at every location to capture all the action.
Coubertin Oak Tree Planting
Stoke Mandeville Combined School is one of a few schools selected to plant this special tree sapling from Much Wenlock to the Olympic Park in preparation of London 2012. Grown from acorns from the oak planted in 1890 during the Wenlock Olympic Games.
Andrew Daniels Olympic Update
GB Kayaker Andrew Daniels popped over to Longridge Activity Centre in Marlow for a catch up a couple of weeks before his Olympic trials.
