Holocaust Educational Trust – Lessons from Auschwitz Project

Around 200 students from schools and colleges across the Thames Valley and Chilterns have visited the Nazi concentration and death camp Auschwitz-Birkenau in Poland as part of the Holocaust Educational Trust's 'Lessons from Auschwitz Project'. The Bucks Show – Armed Forces Day 2011.

On Saturday 25th June 2011 Buckinghamshire showed its support to the Armed Forces based in the County. A national day of celebration, at Aylesbury Rugby Club. Blue were the special headline guests.

Holywell Mead Pool in High Wycombe Reopens

The Grade II Listed pool at The Rye in High Wycombe, was first opened in 1957. The pools have been opened again for the summer season. Renovation of the pool building and adjacent Rye Centre, to house a new gym and café starts this winter.
